Sales Planning, Operations & Steering function for APAC region
Job Purpose:
Coordinate inter-department and intra-department to provide data-driven planning & steering in sales
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales process monitoring and auditable tracking
- Dealer order call process management (Dealer -> AMC -> AML) including subsequent order changes
- Communication with HQ about special customisation orders and facilitate ordering to delivery process whilst attempting to maximise Q-order content (boost average selling prices)
- Support dealers for system-related issues for access, warranty start and refer to the trainer for training-related issues
- Dealer sales policy management, including VM policy proposals, bulletin preparation, VM accrual assist finance, tracking and validation.
- Responsible for updating the regular sales master report and ad-hoc reports required by management
- Lead retailer targets development, including methodology, agreement within APAC and tracking of achievement
- Prepare regular monthly retailer car-flow plans to support the Regional Operation Managers (ROM)
- Review and manage dealer Demo status, updating the demo plan and record the new demo registration and demo de-fleet process
- Dealer retail material and other required material collecting and checking
- Monthly sales progress tracking, including weekly forecast collections
- Support the dealer and ROM with daily operations tasks
- Ad hoc tasks assigned by the line manager
- Monitor stock situation of APAC and retailers with regard to suitability and ageing
- Leading forecast preparation for HQ, including agreement from APAC Managing Director and President
- Leading budget and long-term volume planning
- Create monthly KPI reports to show objectively their success, to include achievement of marcom performance and financial analysis of investment per lead, opportunity, test drive and retail
Experience and Qualifications:
Essential:
- Experience working within the automotive sales function
- Degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, Business or Equivalent
Preferred:
- Experience in high luxury or premium automobile industry
- Experience in reporting and projects related roles
Required Skill and Behaviors
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and integrity-oriented
- Identification with AM core values openness, unity, courage, ownership and trust
- Knowledge of sales operations, sales reporting, sales steering and dealership management
- Excellent in MS software, especially EXCEL, but also Salesforce and Tableau
- Excellent data processing and analysis ability with maximum accuracy
- Ability to process and prioritise multiple tasks
- Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
- Very good English level in oral and written
