Within this role the duties and responsibilities will be broad and diverse with your key responsibilities outlined below:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies, manage roadmaps, and ensure alignment with overall business goals between regions and central (UK) teams
- Lead on volume planning and incentives programmes in collaboration with regional and central teams
Sales Forecasting:
- Develop sales forecasts based on market research and historical data, whilst balancing opportunities and challenges between markets
- Lead target setting methodology and definition ensuring targets are accurate and distributed to annual timing plan
- Manage internal fleet programme from registration to de-fleet maintaining volume and profit targets
Performance Management:
- Improve sales performance management by monitoring individual regions and team performance
- Manage own area of Dealer Operating Standards in definition, measurement and evolution of the programme
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse sales data, create reports and dashboards, and provide insights to sales leadership
Process Improvement:
- Identify gaps in sales processes, implement changes, and monitor their impact to drive efficiency and productivity
Team Leadership:
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to sales operations teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and other departments to optimize processes and achieve collective goals.
Special Projects:
- Support ad hoc special projects as needed
Within this role the duties and responsibilities will be broad and diverse with key requirements outlined below:-
- 5-7+ years of experience in automotive sales management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, provide guidance and mentorship, and foster a positive work environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential for interacting with clients, team members, and senior management
- Experienced in navigating the key issues affecting the automotive sector across the retail operations
- A strong record of building productive partnerships across organizations and networks
