Department Overview:
The Asia Pacific & China office is one of 3 global regions for Aston Martin and covers the diverse and geographical territories across the region including India, Greater China, Japan, South Korea, Australia & New Zealand, as well as the south-east Asian markets. The regional office in Singapore was re-established in 2025 and manages all commercial operations for the company and supports local based offices in the main markets with central functions.
Job Purpose:
The role of the Marcoms Senior Manager is to enhance the awareness and desirability of the Aston Martin brand and products across the APAC & China region, driving increased demand and sales whilst building long-lasting connections with new and existing customers.
In the Marcoms Senior Manager role, you will act as the regional voice and an extension of the global marketing and communications team for the Dealer network and partners. You will lead the local development and execution of regional and Dealer marketing plans and ensure a consistent execution of the Aston Martin brand experience across each market. You will manage and promote an effective regional communications strategy via internal and external communications channels for the region with the public and our Dealer representatives, based on policies and messaging established or aligned with the central programmes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Within this role the duties and responsibilities will be broad and diverse with your key responsibilities outline below:-
- Lead, develop and execute local metric-based marketing plans and budgets in conjunction with regional marketing teams and in line with the global brand and marketing strategy
- Inspire, manage and lead regional team of marketing-communications colleagues
- Work with regional marketing teams to support development, enhancement and execution of local Dealer marketing plans
- ensuring adherence to Dealer Operating Standards requirements and effective required spending allocation
- Develop/manage governance and approvals system for quarterly regional marketing plans and Dealer marketing plans
- Develop/manage governance and approvals system for all regional and Dealer marketing and communication assets integrating the Aston Martin IP in line with global brand guidelines
- Use data and analytics to draw insights to continually optimize regional and Dealer marketing plans, instil a data-led and KPI-led culture and ensure accurate reporting of performance to central stakeholders
- Team player who works closely with colleagues across marketing function (Brand Marketing, Digital and Performance
- Marketing, Product Marketing and Take to Market) to align regional and Dealer marketing plans with the global calendar of marketing events, local execution of go-to-market strategies and new product launches, adaptation of global assets, creative content and messaging to local requirements
- Work closely with colleagues across regional sales function (Sales Ops, After Sales, Network Development) to support
- company objectives within new car sales, financial services, spare parts, aftermarket accessories & extended warranties
- Management of all regional and Dealer customer data touchpoints and optimization of the Customer Lifecycle strategy (through CRM) & Marketing Automation (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Respond to crises or challenging situations quickly and professionally
- Make sure all company materials have consistent and positive messaging and branding, conducting quality control on all communications
- Develop and cultivate relationships and working with regional key automotive, lifestyle and other media outlets and other companies
Experience and Qualifications:
Essential:
- Previous experience of working within a Manufacturer / Importer
- Automotive industry understanding
- Multinational corporate experience & understanding
- Experience in Asia, or major regional markets
- Extensive experience in automotive marketing communications management, with a successful record of achievement
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a marketing communications team, provide guidance and mentorship, and foster a positive work environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, experienced with interacting with clients, team members, and senior management
- Strong commercial knowledge and luxury automotive experience, with deep knowledge of navigating the key issues affecting the automotive sector across the retail operations and the customer journey
- Extensive experience of analysing, defining and implementing a marketing/communications plan across the channel mix
- Extensive experience in corporate communications management
- A strong record of building productive partnerships across organizations and networks
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing and performance / KPI management
- Extensive experience in database CRM, analytics reporting
- Experience of budget and agency management
- Proven experience in leading and building effective teams across geographies & cultures
- Project delivery experience with strong ability to think strategically in a collaborative, but autonomous environment
- Proficiency with business data and performance metrics to manage tactical & strategic objectives
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience of working within Manufacturer / Importer
- Automotive industry understanding
