The Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) is uniquely placed to play a key role in all 6 pillars 

 

Job Purpose: 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our Warehouse and Logistics team supporting all elements if inbound and outbound operations. In this role, you will be required to carry out tasks as directed to include, order picking, order packing, inbound goods receipting, stock locating, kitting and general warehouse duties. Your contribution will help maintain inventory accuracy and support the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Receive incoming aftermarket parts and accessories according to company standards.
• Unloading deliveries using FLT where required
• Locate and transfer stock
• Pick, pack, and ship customer and service department orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Pick part BOM’s to support kitting
• Maintain organized inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, man risers, VNA) safely and responsibly.
• Stay current on product knowledge and training

 

Experience and Qualifications: 

Essential

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience
• Returns processing or working within a quality environment a benefit but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• FLT / MHE licences
• Basic IT skills for logging and tracking returns in the warehouse management system.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to lift, move, and handle products safely.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and supervisors.

Preferred: 

▪ Known Consignor working knowledge with commitment to train and qualify is essential
▪ Working at height
▪ Lean, 5S experience
▪ ERP implementation experience

▪ Must be able to work at height, be comfortable standing for long periods and handle heavy products
