Production Coordinator

At Aston Martin, we are driven by a passion for excellence, innovation, and world-class craftsmanship. As we continue to create some of the most desirable luxury performance vehicles in the world, we are looking for a highly organised and analytical Production Coordinator to join our Manufacturing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator or operations professional to play a key role in supporting manufacturing performance through the coordination of reporting, governance, production support activities, and operational administration processes.

The Role

As a Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating operational governance, reporting and production support activities across Manufacturing. Acting as a subject matter expert for manufacturing systems and reporting processes, you will provide valuable insight, challenge and recommendations that support operational decision-making and continuous improvement.

Working closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, HR, Finance and other key stakeholders, you will ensure that operational information is accurately managed, effectively communicated and used to drive business performance.

You will take ownership of manufacturing administration and reporting activities, support governance processes, maintain production documentation, administer operational systems and contribute to the successful delivery of manufacturing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

You will coordinate production activities across Manufacturing, ensuring operational actions, priorities and information are effectively communicated and tracked. You will own and continuously improve manufacturing administration, reporting and governance processes to support operational performance and compliance.

The role will involve managing operational administration activities including supplier administration, purchasing controls and workforce-related processes. You will become the recognised expert for manufacturing administration systems such as Flags, EASE, Ubisense and other operational tools, providing support and guidance to users across the business.

A key aspect of the position will be developing and maintaining production reporting, KPI dashboards, value stream metrics and operational performance reporting for Manufacturing leadership teams. You will analyse operational data, identify trends and opportunities, highlight risks and provide recommendations that support continuous improvement and business performance.

You will also maintain document control processes, ensuring manufacturing records and operational documentation remain accurate, compliant and up to date. In addition, you will support the investigation and resolution of production issues, warranty concerns and corrective actions through established operational systems and procedures.

About You

You will have previous experience working within a manufacturing, production or operational environment and be comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions within a fast-paced environment.

You will have advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, alongside experience of operational administration, procurement or purchasing processes. You will be confident working with data, producing reports and presenting information in a clear and meaningful way.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are key to success in this role, as you will work across multiple departments and provide guidance and support to colleagues on reporting processes, administration systems and continuous improvement activities.

Desired Experience

Experience within an automotive manufacturing environment would be advantageous, as would experience developing KPI reports and dashboards, supporting operational governance activities and using manufacturing systems such as Flags, EASE or Ubisense. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies would also be beneficial.

Qualifications

You will have GCSEs, or equivalent qualifications, in Maths and English alongside relevant business, administration or operational experience. Qualifications in Business Administration, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or data analysis would be advantageous but are not essential.

Why Aston Martin?

This is an opportunity to join one of the world's most iconic luxury automotive brands and make a real impact within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will work alongside passionate colleagues, gain exposure to multiple business functions and have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support the future success of Aston Martin.

If you are an organised, analytical and proactive professional looking to take the next step in your manufacturing or operations career, we would love to hear from you.
