We’re looking for a Technician- Heritage Aston Martin to join our specialist Heritage Workshop. This is a rare opportunity to work on exceptional vehicles, combining traditional craftsmanship with technical expertise to service, repair, restore and recommission some of Aston Martin’s most treasured models.
Working within Aston Martin Works, you’ll diagnose, maintain and repair Heritage Aston Martin vehicles to the highest standards of quality, safety and authenticity. From routine servicing through to complex restoration and recommissioning projects, you’ll take great pride in delivering meticulous workmanship while respecting each vehicle’s originality and provenance.
Using both traditional and modern diagnostic techniques, you’ll identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, fuel, ignition, braking, suspension and drivetrain issues, applying sound technical judgement to ensure the right solution is delivered every time. You’ll also strip, inspect, refurbish and reassemble components and vehicle systems, ensuring every detail meets the standards expected of Aston Martin Works.
Attention to detail is fundamental to this role. You’ll maintain accurate records, inspection notes and technical documentation, helping protect vehicle history and workshop traceability while ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard.
Collaboration is equally important. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Service, Workshop Control, Parts, Bodyshop, Trim, Paint, Engineering and Quality teams, supporting right-first-time delivery and helping create an exceptional experience for every customer. You’ll also support apprentices and less experienced technicians through knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
We’re looking for an experienced technician, mechanic or restoration specialist with a passion for classic, heritage, luxury or performance vehicles. You’ll have proven experience diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and delivering work with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Experience working on Aston Martin Heritage models would be highly advantageous, as would exposure to classic vehicle electrics, carburettor and fuel-injection systems, engine rebuilds, chassis set-up, restoration projects or concours preparation. However, most importantly, you’ll bring a genuine appreciation for heritage vehicles and a commitment to preserving them to the highest possible standard.
You’ll be methodical, organised and passionate about quality, combining strong technical capability with excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach. You’ll enjoy learning continuously, sharing your expertise and working within a team that shares your passion for automotive heritage.
