New Model Launch Group Leader

Are you an experienced automotive leader with a passion for quality, problem-solving, and delivering world-class vehicles? Aston Martin is seeking a New Model Launch Group Leader to play a pivotal role in bringing new vehicle programmes to life at our St Athan facility.

As part of the New Model Launch team, you will be responsible for ensuring pre-production vehicles are delivered on time, to the highest quality standards, and within budget. Working across multiple production areas including Bodyshop, Paintshop, Trim & Final and Off-Track operations, you will lead and support a team of Product Coaches and Pilot Technicians throughout the launch process.

This is a highly visible role that requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Programme Management, Prototype and R&D teams.

You will coordinate and manage all pre-production build activities, ensuring vehicle concerns are identified, investigated, contained and resolved with minimal disruption to production. You will oversee daily team activities, support engineering investigations and rework programmes, lead wash-up meetings, manage build reporting, and provide clear communication to Launch Leaders and key stakeholders on build status and quality performance.

The successful candidate will have proven experience within Aston Martin production processes and a strong understanding of manufacturing operations. Experience in performance management, attendance management and leading teams within a fast-paced production environment is essential. You will be confident using systems such as TeamCentre, GoldCrest, FLAGS, Ease and eCMS, alongside strong Microsoft Office skills.

You will be a natural leader with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, capable of motivating teams while driving quality and operational excellence. Vehicle rework experience and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and levels of the business are key to success in this position.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across the wider business and work closely with senior leadership while contributing to the successful launch of Aston Martin's future vehicle programmes.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 06:30am to 3:30pm and Friday 06:30am to 11:30am.
