We're looking for a Prototype Parts Stock Controller to join our Prototype Build Operations team in Wellesbourne. This is a hands-on role where your organisation, attention to detail and ability to keep things moving will play a vital part in supporting pre-production vehicle builds and prototype operations.
You'll be responsible for managing and controlling prototype parts throughout the build process, from receiving deliveries and maintaining stock accuracy to picking, packaging and preparing components for build activities. Working with barcode stock control systems, ERP systems and parts trackers, you'll help ensure that every part reaches the right location on time and without error. You'll also support stock movements, assist with rework and containment activities, and occasionally travel off-site to collect urgent components when required.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy matters. You'll be comfortable balancing multiple priorities, working alongside colleagues across different teams and building positive relationships with suppliers, delivery partners and internal stakeholders. A proactive approach, flexibility and a genuine willingness to support the wider team are just as important as previous stock control or warehouse experience.
We're looking for someone who is confident using computers and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and who is comfortable maintaining accurate records and stock information. Experience working with stock management systems would be beneficial, although a willingness to learn is equally important. A valid driving licence and forklift truck licence are essential for this position.
