Department Overview:
The Commercial Operations department is responsible for driving Aston Martin’s global sales, retail network strategy, and customer experience. Within this, the Network Development and Performance team ensures our global Dealer Network deliver exceptional brand representation, commercial performance, and a world-class ownership experience. The team works cross-functionally with Aston Martin Regional UK&SA, Europe, Americas, China, APAC and Middle East teams, to align retail operations with Aston Martin’s broader commercial goals ensuring we are not just a World Class Brand but a high-performance business.
Job Purpose:
The Global Network Development Coordinator supports the Global Network Development Manager in the execution of Aston Martin’s global network development strategy and objectives.
The role is responsible for driving the effective coordination, governance and reporting of network development activities across all regions, ensuring projects, initiatives and dealer development activities are progressing in line with agreed plans and business priorities.
Working closely with Regional Network Development teams and cross-functional stakeholders, the role maintains visibility of all network development activity, supports the delivery of strategic programmes and drives consistency in the application of network development processes and governance.
The position plays a key role in ensuring the Network Development function operates with clear structure, discipline and transparency, enabling effective decision-making and successful delivery of business objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Network Development Execution
- Support the Global Network Development Manager in the delivery of Aston Martin’s global network development strategy and annual objectives.
- Coordinate network development activities across all global regions, ensuring agreed actions and deliverables are progressed effectively.
- Maintain visibility of dealer appointments, relocations, ownership changes, facility developments and other network development initiatives.
- Monitor progress against agreed plans, milestones and opening targets, escalating risks and delays where appropriate.
- Work closely with regional teams to ensure network development processes are consistently understood, adopted and executed.
- Support the successful delivery of strategic network development initiatives and projects.
Governance & Process Management
- Support the management and continuous improvement of Network Development governance processes.
- Ensure network development activities are delivered in line with established policies, standards and approval requirements.
- Coordinate governance reviews and approval submissions, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate and submitted on time.
- Maintain records of approvals, actions and key decisions.
- Track completion of actions arising from leadership reviews.
Transformation Programme Delivery
- Lead the day-to-day coordination and delivery of the Network Development Transformation Programmes
- Maintain programme plans, milestones, risks, actions and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate activities across regions and functions to ensure delivery of agreed programme objectives.
- Track progress against programme deliverables and support reporting of outcomes and benefits.
Corporate Identity Roll Out Support
- Support implementation planning and readiness activities across regional teams.
- Monitor progress against implementation plans and ensure required actions are completed within agreed timelines.
- Work with programme owners and regional stakeholders to identify and resolve barriers to successful deployment.
- Support communication, governance and reporting activities associated with programme implementation
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Degree Educated or extensive experience within the automotive industry
- Experience in project coordination, commercial operations or business improvement activities.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations and management information.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Preferred
- Experience within automotive, retail network, franchise or commercial operations environments
- Business related degree or equivalent related discipline
