CAE Multibody Simulation Engineer - Vehicle Performance

Apply now Job no: 511928
Work type: Full Time - Permanent
Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire
Categories: Vehicle Engineering

Every Aston Martin is engineered to deliver a feeling.

The confidence through a fast corner. The precision of the steering. The balance between comfort and control.

Long before those characteristics are experienced on the road, they're developed, tested and refined in the virtual world.

As a CAE Multibody Simulation Engineer- Vehicle Performance, you'll play a key role in shaping the dynamic behaviour of future Aston Martin vehicles, using advanced simulation techniques to influence vehicle performance from the earliest stages of development.

This is far more than a simulation role, it's an opportunity to become a technical authority within vehicle performance, helping to drive simulation-led engineering decisions across ride, handling, durability and overall vehicle dynamics.

Working at the heart of Advanced Vehicle Engineering, you'll develop and apply high-fidelity full-vehicle multibody models, providing the insight needed to guide concept selection, architecture development and performance optimisation. From sensitivity studies and trade-off assessments to model validation and physical test correlation, your work will help transform data into real-world vehicle capability.

You'll collaborate closely with the wider CAE domain experts, Driven Vehicle Attributes and Commodity engineering functions teams, helping to solve complex engineering challenges and influence decisions across the vehicle development lifecycle.

What makes this role particularly exciting is the combination of technical depth and strategic influence. One day you could be investigating suspension behaviour and vehicle dynamics performance, the next presenting simulation findings to senior stakeholders, mentoring engineers, or developing new methods and tools that enhance Aston Martin's simulation capability.

We're looking for someone with significant experience in multibody simulation and vehicle performance development who enjoys combining technical expertise with practical engineering judgement. You'll be confident building and correlating full-vehicle models, interpreting complex data and communicating recommendations that drive better engineering decisions.

This is an opportunity to join an iconic luxury brand where vehicle performance is fundamental to the customer experience. You'll work alongside passionate experts, contribute to world-class performance vehicles and help define how future Aston Martins feel on the road.

If you're looking for a role where advanced simulation, technical leadership and vehicle dynamics come together, we'd love to hear from you.
