Department overview
The EE Integration Team provide the drum beat for the department, driving the delivery of programme content and providing control and governance to the change management process, including the testing and error tracking function.
Job purpose
Lead the EE integration task to deliver the EE integration content on vehicle programmes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Owns the delivery of the FIP for defined programmes.
- Is the technical lead and drum beat of the project.
- Through regular reviews, ensures on time delivery (through software release planning).
- Drives issue resolution and, where required, mitigation plans.
- Represents EE in engineering and technical reviews.
- Directs the workload of the integration team for the given programmes.
- Defines the work package scope for outsourced integration partners.
Experience and qualifications
Essential experience
- Experience leading a technical team deliver complex, distributed EE functions.
- Experience of automotive software and integration project delivery.
- Knowledge of, or experience in delivering Electrical or Electronics commodities (HD & SW).
- Knowledge of Product Development Cycle from concept to launch completion.
- Knowledge of software/feature fault diagnosis.
- Experience of working in a cross functional team to tackle complex issue resolution.
- Communication and influencing skills.
- Experience of automotive pre-production build environments.
- Experience of Electrical Engineering vehicle fleet support.
- Must be able to manage large workloads in a high-pressure environment and prioritise accordingly.
- Confident and concise presenter.
Preferred experience
- Experience in designing and managing EE Architecture deliveries (Networks/Requirements)
- Knowledge of automotive development systems e.g. releasing, concerns, containments, gateways and sign off documentation.
- Experience of more than one of the following commodities is preferred: infotainment, audio, cluster & displays, tracker & e-call, antennas, switchgear, lighting, camera & PDCs, body electronics, power management, EDS.
- Supplier management experience.
- Technical engineering background and a knowledge of using calculation and analysis to drive design.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing processes to create and assemble components or systems.
- Knowledge of automotive quality tools and processes.
Essential education/ qualifications
Beng/BSc in Electrical/Electronic discipline and/or Automotive Engineering
Preferred education/ qualifications
Meng/MSc in Electrical/Electronic discipline and/or Automotive Engineering

Additional Requirements
- Some travel in Europe or the rest of world may be required to support vehicle testing.
- AML Driver Permits will be required (through AML training) to allow the validation & fault diagnosis of issues on vehicles.
