Department overview:

To allow Aston Martin to build upon the passion, skill and creativity of its employees, the health and safety department advises and assist in providing a safe place of work for those who dedicate their working lives to building the world’s most desirable, ultra-luxury British made cars.

 

Job Purpose:

The health and safety administrator is to assist and support the health and safety department in data collection, action tracking, taking minutes of all safety committee meeting, sending out actions for various health and safety meeting, managing the AIRS reporting system, etc.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the collecting of the accident frequency data, records, and reports for claims and external parties.
  • Handling correspondence and communications for internal and external parties.
  • Organizing and scheduling meetings and events
  • Assist in delegating tasks to other health and safety staff members
  • Being the main point of contact for internal and external parties
  • Performing clerical duties as required.
  • Helping maintain the Health and Safety budget, raising PCR and GRN invoices.
  • Manage the AIRS incident reporting system, updating, and closing open reports.
  • Managing all safety committee meeting, taking the minutes, and sending out actions to the owning departments.
  • Manage the purchase and delivery of PPE and safety shoes to non-production staff

 

Qualification & Experience:

  • Strong administration Support
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Able to use all Microsoft office packages
  • Good Literacy and attention to detail
  • Able to work to tight time scales
  • Good with taking minutes and notes of meetings
  • Priorities and manager a moving workload.

 

Behaviours:

It is essential that the person can manage their own workload and be well organized.
