Department overview:
The Software Integration Team are responsible for driving the delivery of programme content and providing control and governance to the software change management process, including the testing and error tracking function.
Job Purpose:
Lead the EE integration task to deliver the EE integration content on vehicle programmes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Owns the delivery of the Feature Implementation plan for defined programmes.
- Is the technical lead for the programme
- Through regular reviews, ensures on time delivery (through software release planning).
- Drives issue resolution and, where required, mitigation plans.
- Represents Software Integration in engineering and technical reviews.
- Directs the workload of the integration team for the given programmes.
- Defines the work package scope for outsourced integration partners.
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience leading a technical team deliver complex, distributed functions.
- Experience of automotive software and integration project delivery.
- Knowledge of, or experience in delivering Electrical or Electronics commodities (HD & SW).
- Knowledge of Product Development Cycle from concept to launch completion.
- Knowledge of software/feature fault diagnosis.
- Experience of working in a cross functional team to tackle complex issue resolution.
- Communication and influencing skills.
- Experience of automotive pre-production build environments.
- Experience of Electrical Engineering vehicle fleet support.
- Must be able to manage large workloads in a high-pressure environment and prioritise accordingly.
- Confident and concise presenter.
