Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering in the UK this HRBP will work closely with our Regional President and their team at both an operational and strategic level to ensure they deliver on regional strategies.
The HRBP will work with the HR function in the UK and lead on ensuring we deliver a timely HR service, leading key projects and bringing organisations insight back into HR as we develop and deliver on our plans. Building relationships with the business to learn about their challenges and creating plans to address these, which are consistent with the direction of HR.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- To lead the delivery of the HR agenda across the region which covers all of China/Japan/Singapore/Australia and other countries as is needed
- Provide consultancy, advice and coaching to management on all HR related matters, ensuring adherence to all legal and best practice obligations including ER matter, local employment law, industrial relations, performance management, learning and development, appraisals, succession planning and absence management
- Working closely with the function leads to develop practical HR solutions with an eye on cost and consistency
- Lead on talent activities including assessment, identification, development and action planning for the functions
- Lead on listening activities for the business, to ensure we listen and act on employee sentiment to deliver our vision
- Work with the Head of HR Business Partnering to develop organisation review processes needed, working to build an understanding of the business challenges they face internally & externally and creating an organisation that can deliver these
- Lead the change activity for the business area to ensure any changes land successfully
- Deliver on the HR initiatives as they are developed, bringing in your business knowledge on how to best make these new initiatives work for the business area
- Demonstrate sound knowledge in technical HR areas and assist to develop and deliver innovative solutions
- Update the Head of HR Business Partnering/relevant colleagues of local employment law changes and act accordingly
- Act as HR lead on key HR projects, these will be allocated to meet development needs where possible
- Support and maintain implementation of current and new HR policies and procedures.
- Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle
Qualification & Experience:
A resilient and positive, experienced HR professional is required to take on this busy and varied role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must. They will be a team player, working closely with the HR team in the UK and around the globe so good relationship building skills are a must for the successful applicant. The candidate must be able to balance off local requests and HQ direction.
Ability to travel to various AML sites and the UK is a must. The candidate must be prepared to pick up both operational HR work and the more strategic pieces of work. Prior exposure to working with international team and associated contracts would stand the successful candidate in good stead.
